• Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, to transport food orders across designated routes.
• Load and unload deliveries efficiently using manual handling techniques, heavy lifting, or equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
• Follow planned routes accurately, adjusting as needed to ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers politely, confirming orders, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of your vehicle to ensure safety and reliability at all times.
• Accurately document delivery details, including signatures, timestamps, and any delivery issues encountered during shifts.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory or organizing supplies when not on delivery routes.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with knowledge of route-driving best practices.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physical tasks related to moving and loading items safely.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
