Genesis is hiring Second Class Riggers.

Role Overview:
This position involves rigging operations supporting ship repair, including setting, and aligning equipment, selecting and inspecting rigging gear, and safely moving heavy loads. Candidates must be able to perform calculations related to load weight, balance, and rigging configurations.

Requirements

• Shipyard experience is required
• Must demonstrate strong basic math skillsfor rigging calculations
• Familiarity with rigging equipment, hand signals, and OSHA safety standards

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime and weekend work as needed

Pay Range: $18– $23.00/hour
